During difficult times, our church community lends a hand to our members who are in need. If you wish to contribute to the fund which is designated to assist those in need, you may send a payment to the church per one of the options below for Tithing and add "Anba Abraam Fund" in the memo line of the check/payment.

Employer Matching Gift Programs

St. Mary and St. George Coptic Orthodox Church is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is registered with the following charity matching gift platforms: Benevity, Charityvest, CyberGrants, and YourCause

How does it work?

  • Please check if your employer offers a “matching gift program” as part of your employee benefits.

  • Your employer may be using Benevity, Charityvest, CyberGrants, or YourCause to manage this program. Our church is registered with all four platforms.

  • You select/designate SAINT MARY AND SAINT GEORGE COPTIC ORTHODOX CHURCH as the charity you want to give to.

  • You give your donation (tithing) through your employer, most likely via payroll deduction.

  • Your employer contributes a certain percentage (%) to match your donation.

  • The church receives your donation including the percentage matched by your employer.
